This course provides an overview of the theory and practice of community planning and land administration in Nunavut. This online course is open to those who are interested in gaining an introductory understanding of community planning and land administration, with an emphasis on the role of the municipal Planning and Lands Administrator (PLA). Topics include the guiding territorial planning policies, community plans, zoning by-laws, land administration by-laws, survey plans, and land file management systems. By the end of the course, participants will have a basic understanding of community planning and land administration policies and procedures.


Schedule:

Morning Sessions 10:30am - 12pm (ET)

Afternoon Sessions 3pm - 5pm (ET)
