Course Description:

This course runs for a total of ten days. The first six days of training will develop a baseline level of competency in Volunteer Ground Search and Rescue. Each Basic Level training session is anticipated to have four days in class (theory) and two days on land (practical), one of which an elder will be providing instruction in Inuit Traditional Knowledge in the local area. Students will be expected to provide their own equipment, clothing, food etc. for the practical session.
