Course Description:

This is an seven-day course on leadership in the fire service. This course teaches the roles and responsibilities of a Fire Officer.

Course Topics:

• Human relations and the Fire Officer
• Administration and ethics
• Pre-incident planning and fire safety inspections
• Firefighter health and safety
• Emergency services delivery

Prerequisites:

• Firefighter Level I and 2 or Fire Department Senior Officer
• Ability to read and write English for forms and reporting
