Course Description:

This is a ten-day course is a combination of theory and practical skills within NFPA 1001. This course provides fire fighters with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the basic functions of a firefighter.

• Fire ground basics
• Water supply
• Scene support
• Structural firefighting
• Portable fire extinguishers

Prerequisites: 

• Fire Department member for minimum of 6 months
• Completion of phobia testing
