The objective of this project is to provide the knowledge and skills needed to oversee personnel administration. At the end of the program the participants who successfully pass will have a college certificate in Applied Management.

The curriculum includes core courses on human resources, industrial relations, and training and development.  The AMCP should provide the participants with transferable skills and knowledge for advancement roles such as accounting clerk, finance officer, economic development officer, event officer, project manager, etc.

First Course Start Date: May 8-12, 2023 

Phase 1 – FOUNDATION PROGRAM – in person

Phase 2 – APPLIED MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE – remote learning

It is anticipated that the Applied Management Certificate Program (AMCP) will be delivered over a 2-year period.  The program consists of 3 pre-coursed and 7 credited courses.  The pre-courses will be delivered in-person when the credited courses will be delivered online.
