Introduction to Planning and Lands
The Introduction to Planning and Lands course will provide an overview of the theory and practice of community planning and land administration in Nunavut. This course is open to anyone who is interested in gaining an introductory understanding of community planning and land administration, with emphasis on the role of the municipal Planning and Lands Administrator (PLA).
Topics will include a review of the guiding territorial planning documents, community plans, zoning by-laws, land administration by-laws, survey plans, and land file management systems. Delivered in an online format, participants will learn through course lectures and practical activities. By the end of the course, each participant will have a basic understanding of their community’s planning and land administration bylaws and procedures.
Theres going to be 2 session per day:
Time's 10:30AM-12AM EST 3PM-5PM EST (8:30AM-10AM MST 1PM-3PM MST)
Course date's are November 09,11,16,18,23,25,30 And December 2, 2021
To participant this training is non-credit course.
